Project Description:
In 2018 a group of nurses and nurse groups in Massachusetts fought for the right to establish patient limits to help maintain a safer standard of treatment for their patients and a safer workload for their staffs. CK Strategies was brought in to help the entire campaign, and I was responsible for redirecting the brand, mail and website deign, social media design, and digital advertising. We shot our own brand photography, television and radio ads, targeted digital ads, and developed a website for them to house all information regarding the ballot question, events, and interaction with voters. Although this ballot question did not win in 2018, it has inspired a number of states to start fighting for their right to safer patient limits across the country.
Print component:
Over the course of the campaign, we developed over 10 pieces of mail, varying in size from 6in x 11in to 8.5in x 14in. We also developed palm cards, fliers, yard signs, stickers, and fact handouts. Our most popular mail piece can be seen below, as a text thread mailed at 14in. long.
Mail pieces
4.5in x 5in palm card
6in x 11in mailer
17in x 11in mailer
8.5in x 11in folded mailer
8.5in x 11in mailer
Digital component:
We were able to collect a lively following on their social media platforms, but facebook was our most active community. Our targeted digital ads were also successful, peaking past the average CTR on Politico and other sites targeted for our audience.
